    Your purchasing options are based on whether you want PSC to host your software, or if you want to host the software yourself. We can host your software for you in the cloud, and you pay a monthly fee to use the software, or you have the option to download the software and host it yourself from your own datacenter for a onetime fee.
  • What are the procedures for ordering PSC Software™ products?

  • If we have multiple instances of the software, would we need additional licenses to use the product?

    Yes, a unique license would be required for every instance of the software deployed.
  • When does software maintenance start?

    Upgrade: The 12 month software maintenance time period will start when the payment is confirmed and will replace any current maintenance service active for the upgraded license.

    Yes, PSC Software™ hosts the 30-day evaluation version of the fully functional software. PSC does not give extensions on evaluation versions of the software.

    PSC will host your software in the cloud, and set it up instantly for you. By allowing us to manage your software you receive bundled add-ons and distributed collaboration. Your subscription includes software updates, technical support, hosting costs, bandwidth, and system administration. Additionally, for annual subscriptions, PSC offers a discounted rate from the monthly offering, which equates to two free months per year.
  • How will I receive the purchased software?

    For the trial version no downloads or installations are needed. We will set it up for you on our servers, and then a URL will be given to you in order to access the trial version of the software and begin experimenting with our products. If you purchase the software and we host it for you, you will also be given a URL that will be used to access the software. If you choose to host the software yourself, you will be sent a download URL for your IT department to set up.
  • After I purchasing a license, do I need to reinstall the product?

    If you choose to use cloud hosting, no. If you are going to host the product on private servers, yes you will need to reinstall the product using a new download URL, which we will provide for you after purchase. Our staff can help with the installation process upon request.

    During the 12 months of active software maintenance you will get all of the latest software updates. These updates include features, performance improvements, bug fixes and more, all of which enhance our product’s efficiency.

    Important Note: Maintenance renewal’s start date begins when the previous maintenance period expires, date of purchase is not taken into account.

  • What happens when the included maintenance ends?

    After the first 12 months, your software maintenance will expire and you will no longer be able to receive technical support or software updates. Renewing your software maintenance is done solely at your own discretion and can be renewed in advance of your maintenance expiration to ensure access to the support and software updates at all times.

Licensing

  • If we have multiple instances of the software, would we need additional licenses to use the product?
    Yes, a unique license would be required for every instance of the software deployed.

  • Is it possible to combine multiple licenses to increase the number of licensed users I can have for a single instance?

    No, you cannot combine licenses to increase the number of users for a single product instance. If you want to increase the number of users to your system, you must upgrade your license to the next level tier.

Customization

  • Do I have access to the source code? What customizations can be made to the code?

    Unfortunately, only our PSC Software™ development team has access to the source code. If you have a feature or customization request, feel free to Contact Us.
  • Can I request a feature?

    We always welcome suggestions for new features, and requests for customizations. If the feature or customization is simple, our software team will go ahead and add the customization directly to your software.     Evaluation extensions are not available for PSC Software™ hosted, however we offer full refunds during the first month of paid service following the end of an evaluation. After the first paid month, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges.

  • Can I cancel my evaluation and what happens to the content?

    Yes, the subscription holder can cancel any time during the evaluation. The PSC Software™ hosted instance will be disabled on the evaluation end date and the data contained in the instance will be deleted and not recoverable 14 days later. Hosted Subscriptions

  • How do I add or decrease users?

    PSC Software™ hosted is licensed on a user per application. When you sign up, you specify the number of user license you want to purchase for an application. When the number of users that needs access to an application changes, you can change your subscription accordingly.
  • What happens if I reduce the number of licensed users to be less than the number of active users?

    No new users will be allowed to be created. New content creation in the applications will be disabled until the active users are reduced to be within the licensed limit.
  • How do I find out the number of users in use?

    You can find the number of active user within the application’s user management section. The total number of users allowed per license within the application’s license management section. These sections can be found in the system administrators section.
  • How do I cancel my PSC Software™ hosted subscription?
